Zack Balber works as a commercial photographer, hired to photograph multi-million dollar properties throughout South Florida. By inserting himself into these scenes, Balber examines his destabilized identity when confronted with the lure of luxury and affluence, power relationships that give him access to these properties, and coded messages in real estate marketing.

Balber lives and works in Miami, FL. He received his BFA from New World School of the Arts (Miami). He has had solo exhibitions at Spinello Gallery (Miami), Fredric Snitzer Gallery (Miami), Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art (Kansas City, KS). He has exhibited at Orange County Center for Contemporary Art (Santa Ana, CA), Museum of Contemporary Art (North Miami), among others. His works are found in numerous public and private collections.
